**10/10/00 Tonight is the bands' last show in the UK for the meantime, they are playing the final show in the Pitchshifter UK tour and they fly back to the USA tomorrow.  Their first UK show was an absolute blinder,  even treating us to the sounds of "Motown" which they told us they only ever play in Detroit - guys we were honoured =)
The only downer was the lack of crowd for the evening, although saying that, the crowd that was there did the boys proud!  The inhabitants of London missed out on one of the best shows in a long time.  Come back soon guys!!

14/02/01  Wow I HAVE been slack at this stuff.. for those of you who haven't heard yet (where the HELL have you been???!!???) Workhorse broke up!!!! =(  Devestating news as they were just starting to get the recognition they deserved.  But as the saying goes.. all good things come to an end.. and although it was way too soon for me.. if the heart isn't in it - and lets face it after several years of hard slog with little to no returns and a pathetic support system from your record company whose heart wouldn't - whats the point in going on??

Well now to the GOOD news...  here is what Myron had to say abotu my site and a lil news on what the guys are up to...

"hey man, I just stumbled across this yesterday, pretty, cool, where are you from, just to let you know what's up, freedom, pete and myself are recording this weekend for a new album, cornbread is out and joe is teaching, so we are jamming with a new drummer, it's a little more experimental than workhorse, a little more psychedelic, peace myron"

Yo workhorse fans,

The first D-AM (The Dirty Americans) gig is June 8 in Mt. Pleasant, Mi, at Rubbles where we played our first gig as Workhorse. Yes, that place where all of our mushroom induced rock dreams were born. Our first appearance in the Motor City will be on aug 8, with Disengage at the Shelter (below St. Andrew's hall) in downtown Detroit.  Come and hear what no one has heard yet, not even our label Roadrunner.   Please get to the mt. pleasant show early, we go on at 10:00 pm. and there are Workhorse die hards coming from as far away as Wisc, Illinois, and NY for this the first show.

If you get the chance, please visit www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk there is a section to ask myron a question about the new band and about the break up of Workhorse.   Please go there, it will give the label an idea about the interest level in our new project, the more interest, the harder they will work for us.
